The 30 day hold

Why every credit waits 30 days before it can be withdrawn, how the Earnings page shows what is on hold, and why after the first month something unlocks almost every day.

Every amount that lands in your balance becomes available to withdraw 30 days later. This is the one rule about money on The Creators Club that people ask about most, so here is the whole of it.

What is held

Everything: clip earnings when the brand approves them, growth on those earnings as views climb, the welcome bonus, flat bonuses per clip, retainer payments. Each credit has its own 30 day clock that starts the moment it lands.

What the Earnings page shows

Three figures at the top:

Available to withdraw. Credits that are past their 30 days and not yet requested. This is the number the Request payout button uses.

On hold. Credits still inside their 30 days, with a line like "first $42 unlocks on October 12." The "first" is there because credits unlock in the order they landed, so the on hold total usually unlocks in pieces.

In a payout request. Money you have already requested, waiting for the team to settle it.

Available to withdraw

$312.40

$188.00 on hold, first $42.00 unlocks October 11, 2026. Earnings can be withdrawn 30 days after they land.

Request payout
  1. 1Available to withdraw: credits past their 30 day hold that you have not requested yet.
  2. 2On hold: credits inside their 30 days, with the date the next chunk unlocks.
  3. 3Request payout opens the withdrawal form for the available amount.

Why it exists

View counts can be reversed. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube remove views they decide were bots, sometimes a week or two after those views showed up. A brand can also dispute a clip it approved. Thirty days is long enough for those corrections to happen while the money is still in your balance, so a withdrawal never has to be clawed back.

For the platform, that is what makes it possible to pay every creator the full rate with no reserve held back and no fee on the creator side.

How it feels after the first month

The first month is the slow one: your first credit unlocks 30 days after it lands, and until then Available reads $0.

After that, something unlocks most days, because each clip's earnings started its own clock on a different day. A creator posting steadily sees a rolling balance: yesterday's unlock is available, today's approval is on hold, and the two figures move together.

What does not reset the clock

  • Views growing on an approved clip. Each new chunk of growth gets its own 30 days, but the earlier amounts keep their original dates.
  • A dispute on a different clip.
  • Changing your payout method.
  • Requesting a payout. Only unlocked money can be requested, so the request never touches what is on hold.

Things people ask

Can the hold be shortened? Not per creator. It is the same 30 days for everyone.

Does the bonus wait too? Yes. It lands when you submit your first clip and unlocks 30 days after.

What if a count is reversed after the money unlocked but before I withdrew? The correction is applied to your balance. If you have already withdrawn it, that is the case the hold is designed to prevent, and in practice it does.

Where can I see the exact unlock date of each credit? Open the Earnings page; the history list shows each credit with its status and, while on hold, its unlock date.

Next: add a payout method and withdraw.
