Questions
Why was my clip rejected?
The usual reasons: missing hashtags, footage from outside the campaign, a watermark, a repost, or a view pattern that looked bought. What each one means and how to dispute a call you think is wrong.

Short answer
The brand reviews every clip that passes the campaign's minimum payout and can reject it with a reason. The common reasons are a broken rule from the brief (hashtags, music, logo), footage that was not from the campaign, a watermark from another app, a repost of an existing clip, or a view pattern that was flagged. The reason is shown on the clip, and you can dispute it.
Every rejection on The Creators Club comes with a reason written by the brand, shown on the clip in your Submissions page. Here is what the common ones mean.
"Does not follow the brief"
The campaign asked for something you left out or did something it banned. The usual ones:
- A required hashtag or mention is missing.
- Music was added when the brief said none.
- The brand's logo or product was cropped out.
- The clip is shorter than the minimum length.
- The caption says something the brand cannot have said about its product.
Open the campaign and read the requirements block again. Most of these are a two minute fix on the next clip.
"Not from the campaign footage"
You clipped something other than the source the brand gave you. Even if it is the same podcast, a different episode is not the campaign. Only cut from what the brief links to.
"Watermarked"
The clip had a TikTok logo on it when it was posted to Reels or Shorts, or the other way around. Export a clean file from your editor and upload it fresh to each app.
"Duplicate"
Another clipper already submitted the same moment, or you submitted the same clip twice. Some brands allow the same moment from different accounts. Many do not, because two identical clips reach the same viewers. Pick a different moment next time.
"Flagged views"
The view count moved in a way that looked bought: a huge jump in an hour with almost no likes or comments, a count that dropped between reads, or a clip that landed exactly on the cap and stopped. A flag is shown to the brand and they decide. If you did nothing wrong, dispute it and say so.
"Account not verified"
The clip was posted from an account you have not verified under Settings. Verify the account and resubmit.
How to dispute
On the Submissions page, open the rejected clip and press Dispute. Explain in a few sentences why the call was wrong. The team reads every dispute, looks at the clip and the brief, and either reinstates the clip or explains the decision. Read dispute a rejected clip for the steps.
How to stop it happening
Before you post, check the brief for hashtags, music and logo rules. Export clean. Post from the verified account. Submit the link once. That covers almost every rejection on the list.
