Join Campaign
  1. 1The rate: what you are paid per 1,000 views on each platform.
  2. 2Budget left in the pool. Nearly empty means little room for your clips to earn.
  3. 3The tag tells you how you get in: Apply to join, or join on the spot on a public campaign.
  4. 4Press Join Campaign to open the brief, the rules and the source footage.

Reading a campaign

Press Join Campaign on a card to open it. Read these in order:

Rate. Dollars per 1,000 views. This is what you are paid.

Max payout per clip. The cap. A $2 rate with a $100 cap stops paying at 50,000 views. A $500 cap keeps going to 250,000.

Budget left. The pool. If it is nearly gone, your clips will not have room to earn.

Minimum payout. Some campaigns set a dollar floor a clip has to reach before it goes to review. At the campaign rate that works out to a view count; a $5 minimum on a $1 rate is 5,000 views.

Platforms. Where you are allowed to post. Only accounts on those platforms can submit.

Content type. Clipping, UGC or either.

Rules. Hashtags, music, logos, minimum length, anything banned. Read them once now.

Source material. The footage. Open it. If it is dull, the rate will not save you.

Tracking window. How many days a clip keeps accruing after you submit, usually 30.

Applying

Most campaigns are apply to join. On the campaign page there is a short "Why you?" box and an Apply to join button. Two sentences is right: what you clip, what your account looks like, a link to a clip you are proud of if you have one. Brands read these, and a blank box gets skipped.

Peak Snacks wants clippers

Tell them why your account fits. They read these.

Why you?

I run a 40k business clips page and already clip snack and fitness podcasts. Example: tiktok.com/@podclips.daily/video/…
Apply to join
  1. 1Two sentences about your account: what you clip, what it looks like, a clip you are proud of.
  2. 2Press Apply to join. The brand sees your account and your note, and usually answers within a day or two.

Some campaigns are public; the card says so, and joining puts you in immediately. A few are private and invite only; those do not show on the board at all.

You can apply to several campaigns at once. Two or three in your niche is a good start. Eight in eight niches looks like spam to every one of them.

While you wait

The card shows "Applied, awaiting review." Brands usually decide within a day or two. Use the time to verify the accounts you will post from, because you cannot submit from an unverified one, and to watch the source footage and note timestamps.

When you are approved

You get an email, and the campaign moves to your Campaigns tab. Open it and the submit form is at the top. If you were declined, the card says so; it is usually because the account did not fit the niche or looked empty, and you can apply to other campaigns immediately.

Things people are unsure about here

Does applying cost anything? No. Nothing on the creator side ever costs money.

Can I post before I am approved? You can post on your social account whenever you like, but the clip only counts once you submit it, and you can only submit once you are in. Views before you submit still count, because the count is read from the platform when you submit.

What if the campaign closes while I am waiting? Your application closes with it. Nothing is lost except the wait.

Next: submit your first clip.
